Anthony reached out to me wanting to plan the perfect proposal for his girlfriend Sydnie. He wanted a location like Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver, but without the crowds. He found this little beach area tucked away in a residential area next to Whytecliff Park and even researched the tide charts. We met up a few weeks before the proposal to scout out the spot together and to our surprise, the tide was quite high. But thankfully the charts predicted a lower tide on the date and time he wanted to propose.
The Proposal:
The proposal day itself was perfect – the tide was low and the sun was shining. Anthony set up a picnic blanket on one side of the beach, and although there were people around, it still felt quite private. From her point of view, Sydnie thought she was meeting up with Anthony before dinner. As she walked down to the beach, Anthony led her to the picnic blanket and proposed. It was such a beautiful moment and they both couldn’t stop smiling and hugging after! Sydnie couldn’t believe what happened, and it was so cute seeing her excitement over the ring.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple!!
I fell in love with a camera because I fell in love with the people in front of it.
Dozens of weddings and family photos later, I get to tag along to capture what matters most to you.
And I’d consider it to be my greatest honor to be your third-wheel/honorary family member for the day.
