Alyssa and John chose January as their wedding date. Some might call this a bold decision but it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day! After getting ready at separate locations, John and Alyssa had a private first touch moment where they read letters to each other. There was laughter and there were some tears. Music has been a central part of Alyssa and John’s relationship, and the wedding Mass was made extra special by friends who sang and played music in the choir.
Shooting in colder weather requires some braver souls, but the wedding party was game to catch the fading light remaining in the day. We even had the opportunity to play around and experiment with using the Tesla car as lighting.
The reception carried wonderful moments including heartfelt speeches, dances, and a musical performance by the newlyweds that was dedicated to their parents. Alyssa took it to another level with a special performance to John. I feel incredibly blessed to capture their love and the raw emotions of the people who care about them.

I fell in love with a camera because I fell in love with the people in front of it.
Dozens of weddings and family photos later, I get to tag along to capture what matters most to you.
And I’d consider it to be my greatest honor to be your third-wheel/honorary family member for the day.
